Bushwalking
If you give me a chance to go on a bushwalk, I'll take it. Simple as that. Here are a few photos from walks and trips. It would be nice to have more, but it's not always a good idea to take a camera on such occasions!
- Wilson's Promontory (South-East tip of Australia): Telegraph Saddle - Sealers Cove - Refuge Cove (camp) - Waterloo Bay - Oberon Bay - Tidal River (November 2000)
- Lilo-ing on the Hacking River (just South of Sydney): Floating on an air-mattress down the river. Bliss. (December 2004)
- Cathedral Range (~100 km North-East of Melbourne): along the spine of the Cathedral Range from the Sugarloaf to Cathedral Peak (March 2005)
- Wilson's Promontory (South-East tip of Australia): Telegraph Saddle - Sealers Cove - Refuge Cove (camp) - Waterloo Bay - South-East track - Lighthouse (cabin) - Roaring Meg - South Point - Roaring Meg - Half-way Hut (camp) - Oberon Bay - Tidal River (December 2005)
Other Trips around Australia
Australia's a great place to go travelling. It's pretty easy to see most Australian cities using the buses or trains, but to really see Australia you need to get out of the cities and see the bush. So hire a car or campervan and get on with it:
- Boomerang Beach (~300 km North of Sydney): beaches and sun (various trips 1999-2004)
- Clare Valley & Flinders Ranges (~300 km North of Adelaide): wine from the beautiful Clare Valley and then the amazing views of the Flinders Ranges. (April 2005)
- Northern Territory: Litchfield - Katharine Gorge - Kakadu (June 2005)
